As part of its continuous growth and the strengthening of its production capacity, NIKOFARM Ltd. is proceeding with significant infrastructure upgrades, equipment modernization, and improvements to employee working conditions and safety. These interventions aim to enhance operational efficiency, improve production quality, and ensure high standards of sustainability and safety. Through investments in modern technologies and upgraded facilities, the company reinforces its position within the industry, responding to the contemporary demands of the market and responsible aquaculture practices. More specifically, during the 2025–2026 period, the following upgrades, new installations, and expansions were successfully completed:

  1. Expansion of the new finished-product cold storage facility, installation of a new ice machine, and construction of an enclosed loading dock for finished goods to maintain the cold chain throughout the loading process.
  2. Installation of new cages within the 10-hectare farming area, in deeper waters with stronger sea currents.
  3. Installation of a new permanent construction crane for the net-washing system.
  4. Upgrade of the packaging facility through the installation of new systems for:
    • fish grading and sorting,
    • final order counting,
    • final box weight inspection, and
    • quality control of finished products.
  5. Renovation and new equipment for office facilities.
  6. New vessel equipped with a crane.
  7. New feeding platform.
  8. New van for personnel transportation to and from the company premises.
